General Instructions:

1. All admissions are online.
2. The Management / University does not collect any type of Capitation fees / Donation other than the fees mentioned above.
3. St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, does not authorise any individual or organisation to process admissions on its behalf. Applicants are cautioned against receiving SMS/Email/, WhatsApp messages, or phone calls from unauthorized organizations or individuals on or off its campus. St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, will not bear any responsibility for applicants being misguided by such promises.
4. St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, will send emails from [email protected] or sju.edu.in domains for the application process. An email will be sent only to the selected candidates for the interview through the SJU sender ID.
5. The application fee for UG Programmes is ₹ 1000 (one thousand only). For programmes with an entrance test, an additional fee of ₹ 200 (two hundred only) will be charged (additional bank charges may apply). The application fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
6. Admission to a new programme automatically supersedes and permanently cancels all previous admissions. The candidate may only retain the seat for their most recent admission, with no option to reinstate admission to the prior programme.
7. Applicants for all bachelor's programmes should update their XII Standard/ II PU marks in their application form.
8. The programmes with an entrance test for admission are clearly specified. Requests for changes to date/time/venue/mode of test/interview will not be entertained. No request for TA/DA or accommodation will be entertained. Failure to attend the entrance test/interview is considered as “not selected”.
9. For the details of the St Joseph’s University Entrance Tests (SJUET), please refer to the web page of the respective programme(Please be advised that revaluation and photocopying of SJUET documents are not permitted).
10. Entrance tests will be conducted on campus for all Indian nationals. All Foreign/International applicants will not have entrance tests but will be screened separately as prescribed by the Department/School. Only the programmes of the School of Communication and Media Studies will have online entrance tests.
11. If a candidate has applied for more than one programme, both of which have entrance tests, provisions will be made for the candidate to take both tests on the same day. The dates and timings of St Joseph’s University Entrance Test (SJUET) are notified. After arriving at the venue of the test, the candidate will be informed as to which test he/she should complete first. After a break of half an hour, the candidate can take the next test.
12. Meeting the eligibility criteria rests solely with the candidate.
13. Before saving the application form at any stage, kindly ensure that you have filled in complete and accurate details on every page. After you save the form, any corrections will incur a fine of Rs 50 per correction.
